Our journey began in 2017, during a memorable trip to Nyungwe National Park with my parents. It was a special moment—my last trip before returning to the UK to complete my master’s degree. However, I faced a significant challenge: planning the trip was difficult due to limited online information. Finding nearby hotels or activities required endless calls to friends for recommendations and bookings. As a Rwandan with over 10 years of experience in hospitality, I thought, “If I’m struggling with this, how much harder must it be for international travelers? That realization sparked the idea of TouTrip—an innovative platform designed to make travel in Rwanda seamless and enjoyable for all.
